Candle Care

At Lotti, we hand-pour candles with natural soy wax that is FDA approved and kosher certified. Our cotton wick is interwoven with paper fibres for a lead-free burn, while our fragrance oils are phthalate free. The beautiful vessels we offer are carefully picked at second-hand shops, as well as from donations from our lovely community to encourage sustainable repurposing.

Lotti engages in these practices to deliver a clean product you can safely enjoy in your own.
We encourage you to extend the life of your vessel and use it as a pencil holder or come back for a refill. Our brand is proud to present you with meticulous craftsmanship, ethical production, and accessible prices. We are glad you went with us and hope you enjoy unwinding in your favourite space with your chosen fragrance.

Love at First Burn

The first time you burn your candle allow it to burn for at least 2 hours, or until the entire top is melted. Doing this allows for an even burn next time you enjoy your candle.

Trim The Wick

Trim the wick to 1/4 inches before lighting. Be sure to shop off the mushroom top that can form on the wick. Burning the mushroom top may result in a smoky burn and particles falling in the candle wax.

Clear as a Lake

Keep your candle free of any foreign particles, including matches and wick trimmings. This is especially important to prevent a fiery event.

Have a Safe Burn

Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. It is not recommended to burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop the burn if your candle has no wax left. Always burn candles within sight and keep out of the reach of children.
