1. Materials:
1.1 Vessels: Lotti Studios primarily uses thrifted and used vessels for its candles. These may show signs of use, and while we strive to preserve and sometimes modify them, not all vessels are tested for all conditions. Users must exercise caution to avoid injury, as glass vessels may crack due to various factors, such as prolonged burning, wax exhaustion, or sudden temperature changes.
1.2 Wax, Fragrances, and Oils: Lotti Studios sources wax, fragrances, wicks, and oils from reputable North American suppliers. While we follow safety guidelines recommended by these suppliers, we do not produce these materials. Users are encouraged to exercise caution and consult professionals for potential allergens.
2. Safety:
2.1 General Safety: Candles inherently involve an open flame. Users must follow provided care instructions, warning labels, and practice safe handling. Vessels may become hot, and melted wax should not contact the skin or eyes. Candles should be burned in a safe area, away from flammable items.
2.2 Ingestion and Allergies: Ingestion of candle wax, especially fragrant candles, is strongly discouraged. Materials used may contain allergens, and users with allergies should seek professional advice.
2.3 Product Returns: Lotti Studios may request product returns if a product is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund.
3. Fills and Customizations:
3.1 Customer-Provided Vessels: Lotti reserves the right to refuse fill requests for customer-provided vessels if safety is a concern.
3.2 Fragrance Strength: Fragrance strength is subjective, and results may vary from user expectations. Lotti maintains consistent measurements, but individual preferences differ.
4. Quality: While Lotti Studios strives for top-quality products and services, each handmade product is unique, resulting in potential variations in quality.
5. Lessons:
5.1 Techniques: Techniques taught in lessons are a result of research and experimentation. Customers do not own or claim ownership of these techniques. Users must practice safety when applying these techniques independently.
5.2 Conduct: Customers attending lessons or visiting us online or in-store are required to observe self-composure and courtesy. Failure to do so may result in being turned away or asked to leave.
6. Order Modifications and Cancellations: Customers can request order modifications or cancellations within a reasonable timeframe. Lotti Studios reserves the right to assess any associated fees.
7. Shipping: Shipping times and methods are outlined in our shipping policy. Lotti Studios is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as weather, customs, or carrier issues.
8. Intellectual Property: All content on the Lotti Studios website, including images, text, and designs, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without explicit permission.
